Could YOU 'Escape' the 'Catchers'?

This is an early call to all - ESCAPE 2017 will take place in October 2017

Max Butler (the ESCAPE event Manager) says:

It's all getting very exciting here at ESCAPE HQ (my dining room) as the 'staff bookings' and 'registration of interest' for Catcher teams are now LIVE!

For those of you who do not know, ESCAPE is an event organised by York Ebor District, North Yorkshire, and is open to all UK Explorer Scouts (14-17yrs) as 'Escapers' and Network members and Leaders (18yrs+) as 'Catchers'. The 'Escapers' are given 24 hours to get between set checkpoints across the Yorkshire countryside while evading Catcher teams.

ESCAPE is a 24 hour adrenaline-fueled wide game aimed at Scouts and Girl Guides aged between 14 and 18. Teams of 4-7 young people spend 24 hours navigating their own route while being pursued by teams of adults. Escape is the biggest entirely youth led event in the whole country.

If you fancy being a 'Catcher' or a 'Staff Volunteer' or wish to express an 'expression of interest in taking part', then visit or simply click HERE

Full registration will be opening very soon!

As soon as more information is available about this year's event, we will be in touch. In the meantime don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook @escapeyork

Many Thanks

Sounds brilliant to me - could YOU help to make the event another success?
